Hello! I’m Jamie, a graphic designer who’s come a long way to present my work to you.
From the Nevada desert to the Indiana fields, and then the great lakes of Michigan, I’ve traveled over 2,000 miles to get here. Over the last five years I’ve been developing and refining my skills in branding, identity design, web design and more as a student at Central Michigan University. In the beginning I had no clue what area of graphic design I wanted to pursue a future in. However, I quickly fell in love with designing and prototyping websites and apps when I was introduced to Adobe XD, and again when I got to create brand identities and campaigns for student entrepreneurs in the 2022 CMU New Venture Competition. I also love developing illustrative designs that can be used across online and print media to create a unified identity.
Favorite Typeface: Avenir Next Condensed (Ultra Thin Italic)
Favorite Software: Illustrator - the best software for my minimalist and illustrative style, the pen tool is my best friend
After Graduation Plans: Shooting for an internship or an entry level job! I'm currently torn between pursuing brand identity and web design, I love creating a cohesive aesthetic across platforms but I also want to dive deeper into web design and the different softwares. I'll be moving to Novi after graduation but who knows where I'll end up in the future.
