My name is Eric Estes and I’m a graphic designer from Redford, Michigan. I’ve always had a passion for symbolism and non-verbal communication, which is what ignited my passion for design work. As soon as I took an introductory graphic design course in high school, I was in. Finding a way to translate ideas, dreams, feelings, and ambitions into art with a function is my passion.
I worked at Charles V. Park library for my first few years on campus before getting the opportunity to work for Media Graphix, Central’s student run design service and the only graphic design agency in Mount Pleasant. Designing new logos and brand identities is my favorite thing to do, but Media Graphix has shown me my passion for layout work and maintaining an existing brand identity. In my down time, I like to run Dungeons and Dragons games, make linoleum block prints, and go to different fancy coffee shops with my fiancé.
Favorite Typeface: Avenir
Favorite Software: Illustrator. I've spent many years learning how to use illustrator efficiently. It's like adult MS paint.
After Graduation Plans: I hope to find remote in-house work. Ultimately, I'll go where ever my partner goes.
